On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Mason County Schools, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Management received information of a possible threat to Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School. The incident was fully investigated and precautionary measures were taken to ensure student safety. Additional first responders may be seen at the school to alleviate any concerns. Due to the quick response from the above mentioned agencies we do not feel like there is reason for concern. Thank you,
Mason County Schools

Today’s festive meal was a beautiful reminder of what makes our school community so special. A massive thank-you to our incredible kitchen staff, who worked tirelessly to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving-themed meal for our students. Your hard work, heart, and creativity truly made the day unforgettable—right down to the fun hats and festive spirit! 🦃💛
We also want to recognize all of the staff members who jumped in to help—serving food, supporting students, and making sure everything ran smoothly. It takes a village, and today our village showed up in the best way.
Seeing our students smiling, laughing, and enjoying good food together is what it’s all about.
We wish all of our students a wonderful, safe, holiday break and will see you in December! 🧡
