Mason County Schools is proud to offer FREE 7-Day Meal Boxes through the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)!
Each meal box contains enough food to provide one breakfast and one lunch per day for seven days for eligible children.
📅 Pickup Dates (Wednesdays Only):

✔ July 8
✔ July 15
✔ July 22
✔ July 29
⏰ Pickup Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Pickup Locations:
• Ashton Elementary School
• Point Pleasant Jr./Sr. High School
• New Haven Elementary School
📌 Important Reminders:
• You may only receive a meal box from the location where you are registered.
• Children participating in a Mason County Schools summer program may not receive a meal box during that week.
• Once registered, your child will remain on the distribution list unless you request removal.
• Parents/guardians or the student may pick up meal boxes.
• Families with children ages 1–5 who are not yet school-aged may also complete the registration form.

Point Pleasant Primary School Teaches our youngest students. This school along with the satellite centers of Magic Years and Early Education Station serve 335 PreK to 2nd grade students. Working with the very young child takes a lot of patience and heart and the Primary School has some of the teachers with the biggest hearts in this county. Thank you for all the hard work and hours of time that you work so hard educating these young children and making it look easy. Not everyone can do this work, but you do it extremely well. #MasonProud

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Mason County Schools, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Management received information of a possible threat to Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School. The incident was fully investigated and precautionary measures were taken to ensure student safety. Additional first responders may be seen at the school to alleviate any concerns. Due to the quick response from the above mentioned agencies we do not feel like there is reason for concern. As always, we thank law enforcement and emergency management for their continued partnership in ensuring our schools are safe for students and staff.

Picture day is coming soon! Wednesday, April 22nd will be Spring Class and Individual Picture Day.

Mason County Schools upcoming Preschool and Kindergarten Registration Dates.

All registrations will be in person at the school, except for PPPS which will be at the Mason County Board of Education Event Center.

Times are 8:30-2:30 for everyone but Leon which is 8:00-2:00.
Preschool students must register again for Kindergarten.

March 13- Ashton and Leon -Preschool and Kindergarten
March 20- Beale and Point Pleasant Primary School and daycares-Preschool and Kindergarten
March 27-New Haven and Roosevelt-Kindergarten
